Dr. Tram Vu graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a degree in biochemistry, and completed her honors thesis in photosynthetic reaction center mutagenesis. She then pursued her doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and completed a year of residency at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. Upon her graduation at UCSF, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society that distinguishes and honors exceptional students who are in the top of their class.
After Dr. Vu completed her dental training, she decided to return home to Phoenix, Arizona, where she grew up. She believes in giving back and has been involved in community services since she was a teenager. Dr. Vu has spent time volunteering at various community events throughout the years providing free dental care for those in need, including a dental mission trip to Honduras. She was presented with the community leadership award by the California Dental Association in recognition for her outstanding community leadership and contributions.
Dr. Vu enjoys working with her patients. Her utmost priority is to deliver the best dental care. She has taken numerous hours of continuing education, exceeding the total state requirement for license renewal. Her passion in dentistry is apparent through her active involvement in the dental community. She is part of the Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD) Program in the Arizona Dental Association.
Dr. Vu loves to travel and is a huge food enthusiast! In her free time, she enjoys cooking and barbecuing with family and friends at the pool. She also likes hiking, camping, ATVing, and exploring nature.
